Altorfer Caterpillar Opens New Springfield, Ill., Branch

Altorfer Inc., a Caterpillar dealer serving 88 counties in Eastern Iowa, Northern Missouri and Central Illinois, opened a new facility recently in Springfield, Ill.

Altorfer Inc., a Caterpillar dealer serving 88 counties in Eastern Iowa, Northern Missouri and Central Illinois, opened a new facility recently in Springfield, Ill. The new facility will offer construction equipment, rental and on-highway truck repair services. The branch includes a Cat Rental Store.

Altorfer held an open house May 25 with almost 300 people in attendance, offering door prizes, equipment demos and facility tours.

“We are striving to provide our customers with a best-in-class customer experience,” said Mark Hanson, vice president of Altorfer’s construction division. “We are pleased to give our construction, rental services and power systems teams the opportunity to work in a modern, well-located, and professional facility. We are in position to serve our customers like never before.”

Altorfer is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
