Imperial Crane Services was honored with a 2016 Annual Awards for Business Excellence in the category of family business. The AABEs highlight successful suburban businesses and organizations, honoring the people who make them successful. They are given for business achievement, growth and community involvement and presented to businesses and non-profit organizations with a significant presence in the suburban circulation area of the Daily Herald Business Ledger, which includes DuPage County, Fox Valley, NW Cook County, Lake County, West Cook County, Southwest Cook County and Will County, all in Illinois near Chicago.
Awards were presented to 22 companies and not-for-profit organizations in nine categories of competition. Imperial Crane Services has been in the crane rental business for more than 45 years, providing daily or long-term lift projects with more than 250 machines.
Starting as a one-crane organization, Imperial has grown its rental and sales divisions to create a worldwide organization. Based in Bridgeview, Ill., Imperial Crane Services is No. 44 on the RER 100.
