Wholesale aerial rental specialist Acme Lift is expanding its equipment lineup to include Sullair’s large mobile air compressors that produce from 700 to 1,600 cubic feet per minute. Acme Lift, which rents large boomlifts and telehandlers exclusively to rental companies throughout the United States and Canada will now, for the first time, expand its offering into other machines that align with the needs of the company’s re-rental customers.

Acme Lift CEO Woody Weld said the company has been seeking opportunities to expand its fleet into other equipment areas besides aerials.

“I am extremely proud to announce the new strategic alliance between Acme Lift and Sullair,” said Weld. “Acme Lift will now be able to provide, via rental, Sullair’s large mobile air compressors, which are of the highest quality available. In its 50 years in business, Sullair has assembled an excellent network of sales and service partners. Sullair’s existing partnerse and the growing rental industry will benefit greatly by gaining wide access, through Acme Lift, to Sullair’s large capacity mobile air compressors.”

“The alliance between Sullair and Acme Lift gives us yet another avenue to expand our large portable line,” said Stefan Brosick, Sullair vice president of sales. “We are pleased to offer our channel partners an additional option outside of purchasing outright and the ability to supplement their operations by performing service and warranty work on the units. It also presents our channel partners with new opportunities to bid larger jobs without having to invest significant capital.”

The air compressors to be offered by Acme Lift include the Sullair 700HH iT4, 900H iT4, E900H electric, 1600H iT4 and the high-pressure 900XHH/1150XH iT4. Acme Lift will also carry Sullair remanufactured compressors featuring the same factory warranty as a new unit, including the 900H T2/T3, 1600H T2/T3 and 900XHH/1150XH T2/T3.

“The Sullair large portable air compressor line is an ideal wholesale rental product,” said Mike Crouch, Acme Lift president and chief operating officer. “Renting through Acme Lift allows our customer to expand their fleets to include these specialized units when their customers demand them. And our customers won’t have to tie up significant capital expenditures for these machines. This alliance is mutually beneficial, allowing Acme Lift and Sullair to expand their customer bases.”

Acme Lift Co., founded in 1997 and based in Mesa, Ariz., and No. 64 on the RER 100, features the latest and largest Genie and JLG self-propelled aerial work platforms and telehandlers. Sullair, founded in 1965, is a leading manufacturer of portable air compressors, contractors’ air tools, stationary air compressors, compressed air treatment equipment and vacuum systems.
