Acme Lift Names Vice President Service and Maintenance
Acme Lift veteran Jeff Heep has been promoted to vice president of service and maintenance, bringing high service standards to the re-rental fleet of the largest aerial work platforms and telehandlers on the North American market.
Heep, who has been based in Texas as rental and product support manager for Acme Lift’s Gulf Coast region, has worked in the equipment rental business since 1981.
“Jeff has been in the trenches since 2004 with Acme Lift’s equipment, and he places top priority on our customers,” said Mike Crouch, Acme Lift president and chief operating officer. “He’s affectionately known as our ‘MacGyver’, proving over the years to be an essential link between our customers’ needs and our success in building the world’s largest wholesale rental company and the leading re-renter of the biggest boomlifts.”
“I have prided myself in getting to know all our customers in the Gulf Coast region, personally connecting with them and providing them the best service,” added Heep. “Now I’m looking forward to doing that throughout the United States and Canada.”
Heep previously worked for other rental companies including Ameco and NationsRent, now part of Sunbelt Rentals. Before joining Acme Lift, Heep worked for JLG Industries for four years, working on trade-in packages, and providing service training and quality maintenance at JLG’s service center in Houston.
Acme Lift, based in Mesa, Ariz., has the largest selection of large boomlifts reaching up to 185 feet and 8,000- to 40,000-pound telehandlers for re-rent at daily, weekly or monthly rates.
