Skyworks Acquires Former Car Dealership Building in Troy, N.Y.

Aerial equipment rental specialist Skyworks has acquired a former automobile showroom in Troy, N.Y., the Albany Business Review reported. Skyworks Equipment Rental, Sales & Service bought Carbone Subaru’s former showroom for $2.125 million, the article reported.

The 35,770-square-foot building will house Skyworks’ Albany branch. The company plans to move into the much larger facility later this year, Albany branch manager Joe Raziano told the newspaper, adding that Albany is one of the company’s better markets.

Skyworks, a major player in aerial rental, has 11 branches, including Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Rochester and Syracuse, N.Y., and Knoxville, Tenn. Skyworks, No. 55 on the RER 100, is based in Buffalo, N.Y.
