Cross Country Pipeline Supply Enters Canadian Market with Sideline Acquisition

Cross Country Pipeline Supply Co., which sells and rents equipment to the domestic oil and gas pipeline construction industry, has entered the Canadian market by acquiring Sideline Specialty Equipment, which has branches in Conroe, Texas, and Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada.

Sideline is a provider of specialized equipment and support for pipeline projects around the world. Sideline provides innovative equipment and solutions, often designed and built to meet specific project needs.

Marhofer, president of Sideline’s U.S. operation, and Tim Martin, president of the Canadian operation, will join Cross Country in senior operational and business development roles. Marhofer and Martin each have more than 30 years of experience in the pipeline industry.

Cross Country Pipeline Supply is based in Aurora, Colo., and also has two branches in Pennsylvania.
