Cooper Equipment Rentals, based in Toronto, is the latest mid-market equipment rental company to join the SmartEquip Network. By using SmartEquip’s Enterprise application in conjunction with Texada’s Systematic Rental Management Software, Cooper Equipment Rentals will be able to streamline its service process, eliminate parts order errors and increase its rental fleet utilization. The integration of SmartEquip with Systematic Rental Management will allow Cooper to leverage the combined platform to enhance existing business relationships with the 160 parts and MRO suppliers on the SmartEquip network.

“We are excited about taking this next step with SmartEquip and Texada to improve our service to customers by increasing visibility, adding speed and efficiency, and standardizing our systems and processes across an expanding network of rental locations in Ontario,” said Doug Dougherty, president of Cooper Equipment Rentals.

“SmartEquip’s goal has been and always will be to connect fleet owners to their manufacturers and respective dealers, eliminate parts ordering errors and help drive profitability,” added Fernando Pinera, chief operating officer for SmartEquip.

Cooper Equipment Rentals carries a wide range of backhoe loaders, compact wheel loaders, compact excavators and compaction equipment, along with other equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets.

Cooper Equipment Rentals is No. 92 on the RER 100.
