BlueLine Rental finalized its acquisition of aerial specialist Trico Lift, the company said. BlueLine Rental CEO Phil Hobson said the senior management team from Trico will stay on with BlueLine in regional management roles.

“We are excited to join forces with Trico, which will strengthen our aerial fleet, provide access to new customers, and help continue delivering on our growth strategy,” said Hobson. “Our businesses are very complementary and we expect a seamless transition.”

BlueLine is owned by Platinum Equity, which acquired the business in January 2014. In September 2014, BlueLine acquired JustRuss Rental, a full-service equipment rental company with three locations in Alabama, expanding BlueLine’s footprint in the Southeastern United States.

“We will continue to support BlueLine’s growth through organic efforts and potentially other complementary add-on acquisitions that provide synergies with BlueLine and strengthen the company’s mix of equipment and customers,” said Platinum Equity partner Louis Samson.

BlueLine Rental is No. 5 on the RER 100.
