Deep South Crane & Rigging of Baton Rouge, La., has acquired two Terex lattice boom crawler crane models to its fleet of more than 200 pieces of lifting equipment. The new crane acquisitions include the 440-ton capacity class Terex CC 2400-1, and the 1,760-ton Terex CC 8800-1.
“The company sees some new market opportunities on the horizon that will require the high-lift capacities of the CC 8800-1 crane,” said Jim Strobush, regional sales manager for Terex Cranes.
“Now owning 10 crawler cranes over 600 tons, Deep South believes the CC 8800-1 will be a valuable addition to its growing fleet of high-capacity crawler cranes,” said Jeremy Landry, project manager for Deep South.
Deep South has branches in Lake Charles, La.; Houston and Beaumont, Texas; Valparaiso, Ind., and Bogota, Colombia.
