Trico Lift recently participated in a one-day Fall Prevention seminar hosted by Madison Risk Group at the FallProof Systems headquarters in Trenton, N.J. Trico Lift safety manager Hiliary Holloway and King of Prussia, Pa., branch manager Chris Venezia teamed to provide both classroom and hands-on training on aerial work platform safety standards including fall protection, equipment inspections and operator training for about 80 attendees.
“Trico Lift realizes the importance and increased emphasis on aerial work platform safety,” said Venezia. “More importantly, we also recognize the comprehensive consequences of failure, both personally and economically. It’s something we emphasize on a daily basis. We want to provide existing and potential customers with the information they need to think and work safely, which includes educating the industry on the differences between training and familiarization. This seminar provided us with an opportunity to do just that.”
The seminar included a special presentation by Martin Davis of OSHA in conjunction with OSHA’s National Emphasis Program on Fall Protection.
Trico Lift offers year-round aerial work platform training and certification at its locations.
