National Pump & Compressor Launches Disaster-Recovery Website

June 12, 2013

National Pump & Compressor recently launched a new website focused on the emerging disaster-recovery facet of its business. The website — HurricaneSupport-Beaumont.com— provides information on local disaster recovery services. By introducing a hurricane and disaster recovery website in conjunction with its main company website, npcrents.com, NPC hopes to give businesses, municipalities and the general public information regarding how to properly prepare for a hurricane and how NPC can help in the event of a hurricane or other disaster.

HurricaneSupport-Beaumont.com will include information for businesses in need of industrial pumps, hose, generators and other flood relief and dewatering equipment. The website will also offer information on hurricane contract services NPC provides to businesses and municipalities to ensure a negotiated rate in the event of a hurricane.

“HurricaneSupport-Beaumont.com was created to be a single source for businesses and municipalities to find information and equipment to help with recovery after a hurricane or severe weather event,” said Jason Pyle, vice president of operations for NPC. “The catalyst for this website was our work during Hurricane Sandy. After sending over 200 pieces of equipment to help the flooding and dewatering that resulted from this catastrophic event, we realized we needed to offer customers a platform that presented our services and expertise in the area of disaster recovery.”
