Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has named Erik Olsson, former RSC Rental CEO, to the company’s board of directors. Olsson is currently president, CEO and a director of Mobile Mini, the world’s leading provider of portable storage solutions. Olsson had been president, CEP and a director of RSC Holdings.
Olsson also served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of RSC, and held various senior positions in the United States, Brazil and Sweden during a 13-year tenure with Atlas Copco AB.

The appointment of Olsson brings Ritchie Bros.’ board of directors to eight members.
