KPL Scaffolding Opens New Hemet, Calif., Headquarters

KPL Scaffold celebrated the grand opening of its new North American headquarters in Hemet, Calif., last week. KPL Scaffold, a subsidiary of Guangdong Youying Group, was formerly located in Los Angeles. KPL Scaffold acquired the new facility in Hemet in January, the Press Telegram reported.

KPL Scaffold CEO Wilson Wu told RER that the company, internationally headquartered in Canton in southern China, has been manufacturing scaffolding products for more than 20 years in China and has been doing business in the United States for eight years. Wu said KPL has 80-percent penetration in Australia, New Zealand and South Asia.

“We also do business in the Middle East, South America and Europe, in more than 50 countries,” Wu told RER.

KPL Scaffold acquired a 17-acre facility with office space, which will be the company’s U.S. headquarters for distribution, rental and retail. KPL has more than 10 employees currently.

About 75 people attended the grand opening, which included welcomes from the Hemet City Council and the presence of local and state politicians and dignitaries.

KPL specializes in sales, rental, distribution and custom manufacturing of scaffold components and equipment for the construction market. The company also provides custom fabrication, project engineering, set-up and dismantling.
