Stanley Black and Decker recently formed a manufacturer representative partnership with Houston-based MIS Group covering the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi for the rental industry.

“We are looking to grow our rental business in the South Central region working in a close partnership with the MIS Group,” said Kevin Burroughs for Stanley Black and Decker. “The goal is to have a strong brand presence and growth in the rental market.”

“The key to our partnership is our local factory branch mentality of four account managers and three inside support personnel,” JMax Quenon, director of sales of MIS Group, said.

MIS Group’s target market will be the rental industry focusing on increasing the use of DeWalt tools in a company’s rental fleet. DeWalt will be exhibiting at the TRA Round up July 13-14 in Galveston, Texas. At this show the company will showcase demolition hammers, grinders, metalworking products, carbide and abrasives.

Stanley Black and Decker is dedicating resources to the rental channel and has a number of dominant brands to promote in this channel. The company has a strategic partnership with its independent sales reps in growing its market share.
