    ARA and CRA Combine on Joint Chapter Meeting in Southern California

    The American Rental Association and California Rental Association held a combined open house recently at the Glendora, Calif., facility of SoCal Rentals-EquipRent. More than 30 vendors participated. With more than 130 attendees, the turnout was the largest for the CRA on a local level in some time.

More than 30 vendors participated. With more than 130 attendees, the turnout was the largest for the CRA on a local level in some time.

    Sherri Creighton of Pleasanton Rentals, Pleasanton, Calif., the Region 9 director of ARA, made the trip from northern California to attend, as did CRA executive director Dale Blackwell and his wife Vicki. Blackwell is owner of Aba Daba Rentals in Sacramento, Calif.

    Current CRA president Don Cruikshank, from AV Rentals in Newhall, Calif., also attended.

    Manufacturers and rental center owners in attendance in general expressed confidence the economy is improving and that 2011 would be a better year than the past few.
