Taylor Crane & Rigging has acquired the assets of Reliance Crane & Rigging, a Phoenix-based company. The acquired assets consist of about 3,000 tons of equipment and rigging gear used for heavy industrial lifting and transport. The equipment includes two Manitowoc crawler transporters — 350 tons each — hydraulic modular transport trailers, rail trucks and rail cars, towers, hoists, box girders, 30 semi trailers, dollies, jeeps, miscellaneous rigging equipment and more.

Taylor Crane & Rigging was established in Coffeyville, Kan., in 1975 to provide transportation services in the southeast area of Kansas. The company has expanded to become a full-service industrial mover and crane services company. TCR has a branch in Tulsa, Okla.

The acquisition also includes Reliance’s intellectual property including drawings, engineering, photos, client lists and other documentation necessary for TCR to expand its services in the power and heavy industrial sector.
