In response to RER Reports’ recently published article that Genesis Power Products will no longer be representing the Airman product, manufacturer Hokuetsu Industries has issued the following statement:
Hokuetsu Industries, manufacturer of Airman air compressors and generators, has terminated its Distributorship Agreement with Genesis Power Products, effective March 6, 2009.
Hokuetsu is currently in discussions with potential candidates to arrange a new distributor for their products.
Hokuetsu is hopeful that a new distributor will be named by the end of this week
Every effort is being made to name the new distributor, complete contracts and transition the business as quickly as possible.
In the interim, MMD Equipment of Swedesboro, N.J., will be resuming responsibility for all support of Airman products.
