Massachusetts Rental Company Files Chapter 7

Quincy, Mass.-based Optimum Equipment LLC, which does business as U-Rent-It Tool, has filed to liquidate under Chapter 7 of the U.S. bankruptcy code, the Boston Business Journal reported this week. The company listed assets of less than $50,000 and liabilities of $1 million to $10 million.

In the filing, Optimum ownership said creditors hold $2.78 million in unsecured claims.
