DLR, a France-based rental association, has joined the Global Rental Alliance, which includes the American Rental Association, Hire Association Europe, Hire Industry Association of New Zealand, Hire & Rental Industry Association (Australia) and the Canadian Rental Association.
The goal of the alliance is to increase the profile of equipment rental worldwide and collectively increase membership value to members of the organizations. Since the initiation of the alliance in 2003, the groups have focused on common issues such as equipment theft and recovery, workforce development and rental careers, legislative and regulatory issues, education and insurance.
