Topp Portable Air Announces Paddle for a Cure

Dan Topp, president and CEO of Aston, Pa.-based Topp Portable Air, recently announced that he will take on a long-distance kayak challenge issued by his friend Kevin Kane to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, an organization that has raised more than $35 million for childhood cancer research and grants over the past 10 years. Kane works with ALSF.

Kane works with ALSF.

Topp will paddle a kayak solo down the Susquehanna River, beginning in Williamsport, Pa., and traveling 180 miles to end up in the Chesapeake Bay. The 10-day journey will raise money for childhood cancer with proceeds going to ALSF.
