AED/Lawson Executive Forum to Tackle Doing “What Matters”

The annual AED /Lawson Executive Forum with the theme “Do What Matters” will be held at the Hilton Rosemont near O’Hare Airport in Chicago Sept. 8-9. The annual forum, sponsored by Associated Equipment Distributors and Lawson Software will feature a number of highly regarded speakers.

The annual AED /Lawson Executive Forum with the theme “Do What Matters” will be held at the Hilton Rosemont near O’Hare Airport in Chicago Sept. 8-9. The annual forum, sponsored by Associated Equipment Distributors and Lawson Software will feature a number of highly regarded speakers, including:

  • Chris McChesney, national execution practice leader, will speak on “Creating a Culture of Execution;”
  • Dr. Barry Lawrence, program director for industrial distribution at Texas A&M University, will speak on “Boosting Profitability;”
  • Brian Giamo, founder and CEO of Channel Economics, will speak on “Building a Customer-Driven Dealership;”
  • Ed Steenman, president of Steenman & Associates, will speak on “Marketing the Dealership – Take a Ride on the Auto Side.”

The executive forum moderator will be Jeff Lefebvre, founder and president of PriSim Business War Games. Lebevre, a faculty member at Northwestern University, will also interview a panel of legal experts on product liability and personal injury lawsuits and actions dealers should take to protect themselves.

Other speakers will include popular Wall Street analyst Eli Lustgarten, senior vice president and senior analyst at Longbow Securities, and used equipment analyst Gary McArdle, vice president, Rouse Asset Services; and Kelly Granatier, John Deere director of sales who will offer a global manufacturer’s perspective on North American distribution.
