Harsco to Spend $2 Million to Improve Corporate Headquarters
Worldwide industrial services, engineered products and scaffolding rental company Harsco Corp. plans to revitalize its Harrisburg Steel operating site in central Harrisburg, Pa., as a new regional super center for its Infrastructure business group. The company plans to invest more than $2 million in the site’s preparation, modernization and security, much of which is already in progress.
The project adds to initiatives that Harsco is taking to strengthen operations at its world headquarters in Camp Hill, Pa., in the Harrisburg area.
The initiative will create nearly 20 new jobs for the region’s economy. Harsco Infrastructure and Industrial groups are bringing in about 35 senior-level executives and supporting managers from its worldwide businesses to work in the company’s headquarters.
