Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. last week announced it will celebrate the grand re-opening of its Pennsauken, N.J., general rental facility on April 11. The event will take place at the store between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will showcase the 7,120-square-foot facility’s renovated showroom and newly-expanded product line, which includes small tools, construction equipment and contractors’ supplies.
The grand re-opening of HERC Pennsauken is part of the company’s general rental program expansion. The company added 23 general rental locations in 2007 as part of its planned expansion in that line of equipment rental and currently has more than 100 general rental locations throughout the United States and Canada.
The Pennsauken location offers a broad range of new products, including roto-tillers, floor sanders and pressure washers, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. In addition to the newly expanded product line, HERC Pennsauken still offers a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Case, Genie, Ingersoll Rand, JLG, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl.
At the HERC Pennsauken grand re-opening, vendor demonstrations and literature will be available, a free lunch will be provided, and giveaways will be provided on-site while supplies last. HERC management will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and on-air talent from a local radio station will broadcast live from the event.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Hertz Corp., Park Ridge, N.J.-based HERC is No. 4 on the RER 100 with approximately 290 locations in the U.S. and Canada, and an additional 85 locations in France and Spain.
