Volvo Rents last week announced the opening of a new rental franchise in Lehigh Acres, Fla., in the Fort Myers area. The rental center was opened by CASCO Rentals, the company’s second.
CASCO, owned by franchise principal Enrique Irizarry Jr., opened its first Volvo Rents center in Port St. Lucie, Fla, in 2005. CASCO plans to open a number of rental center on Florida’s east and west coasts as well as Puerto Rico.
The new Volvo Rents branch will carry the franchise chain’s usual mix of construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner equipment, as well as an extensive line of Volvo compact excavators and wheel loaders, backhoes and skid-steer loaders.
Based in Asheville, N.C., Volvo Rents has 75 rental centers in North America, 66 in Europe – Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria – and one in Mexico.
