Park Avenue Building and Roofing Supplies is now offering Beta Max Portable Hoists, including the Gemini Plus lift for medium-duty projects and the Scorpio Plus and Scorpio Plus XL lifts for light weight, smaller projects in confined spaces.
The Gemini Plus lift installs on existing scaffold systems, work platforms, I-Beams and rooftop bounding options. It can lift up to 600 pounds at 80 feet per minute on a single line or 1,200 pounds on a double line at 40 feet per minute.
The Scorpio Plus and Scorpio Plus XL lifts are lightweight and provide easy access into confined spaces making them suitable for one- to two-man crews. Beta Max offers a Vertical Post Mounting System for these lifts that attaches to the leg of scaffolding and pivots 180 degrees to allow for easy loading and unloading of materials. The Scorpio Plus and Scorpio Plus XL can lift up to 400 pounds at 80 feet per minute as an efficient alternative to rope and pulley systems, cranes and forklifts.
