Atlas Copco named James River Equipment, based in Ashland, Va., its dealer in the Carolinas for blasthole rigs, other surface drilling rigs and equipment, and Secoroc rock drilling tools. James River will also distribute Atlas Copco’s Dynapac compaction and paving equipment in North Carolina.
“This is a perfect match,” said Andrew Lee, district manager for Atlas Copco Construction and Mining. “James River actually has a lot of people with drill experience. I would say they already have about 100 years worth of drill experience in-house.”
James River has 25 locations in the Carolinas and Virginia.
