WesternOne Rentals and Sales is re-branding its Volvo Rents (Deerfoot Rentals) facilities in Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta, and On Site Equipment, with branches in Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Edmonton to the WesternOne Rentals and Sales name. Deerfoot Rentals, which held a Volvo Rents franchise and a propane and diesel delivery service, was acquired by WesternOne in January 2008, while On Site was purchased in April of this year.
WesternOne has combined the two Lethbridge stores into one large store carrying all WesternOne’s products. It will operate two separate stores in Calgary, one specializing in general line goods and construction heat and the other in aerial lifts and material handling equipment. The Red Deer and Edmonton stores will be full-line locations.
The heat and propane branch in Calgary will be re-branded WesternOne Heat and Propane.
“This will give WesternOne — a 100-percent Western Canadian company — 11 branches in British Columbia and Alberta and really brings us together as one company,” Steve Taylor, vice president of marketing and corporate accounts, told RER.
Based in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, WesternOne Rentals and Sales is No. 73 on the RER 100.
