Prime Energy Changes Name to Atlas Copco Prime Energy

Prime Energy, a company within the Atlas Copco Group has changed its name to Atlas Copco Prime Energy. ACPE rents 100-percent oil-free portable air compressors, serving such industries as refining and petrochemicals, pipeline construction, food and beverage, container manufacturing, metals, paper, glass, textiles and many others.

ACPE rents 100-percent oil-free portable air compressors, serving such industries as refining and petrochemicals, pipeline construction, food and beverage, container manufacturing, metals, paper, glass, textiles and many others.

The name change was made to reflect the company’s close relationship with parent company Atlas Copco.

“The change will be seamless for our customers and suppliers,” said Frank McMahon, vice president of Atlas Copco Prime Energy. “We’re still the same company, so all existing business arrangements will remain exactly as they were.”

ACPE currently operates 15 locations in the United States and Canada, based in La Porte, Texas.
