Whayne Supply to Expand Evansville Facility

Whayne Supply Co., a Louisville, Ky.-based Caterpillar dealership, announced plans to expand to Evansville, Ind., where it expects to create up to 50 jobs during the next few years. The company said it will invest $2.45 million to purchase and equipment a 79,730-square-foot facility adjacent to its current Evansville location.

The new location will support the company’s expansion into the mining equipment industry and will house re-manufacturing of mining equipment and distribution operations.

Whayne, also active in equipment rental, has 15 locations throughout southern Indiana and Kentucky.
