The signs and sounds of commonly used warning lights and audible alarms are used so frequently that people have become complacent to them. Brigade Electronics offers multi-frequency broadband alarms called BBS-tek, which are designed as an audible reversing signal for a wide variety of applications.
BBS-tek features broadband sound, which, the company says, is more effective at alerting to imminent danger, while actively eliminating noise pollution. It is locatable, instantly pin-pointing the direction of danger. It is only heard in and around the immediate danger area. BBS-tek’s multi-frequency range spans from 400 Hz to over 10,000 Hz, avoiding the aural hazards and irritations resulting from shrill narrowband sirens.
BBS-tek alarms are featured on mining and construction vehicles across the United States, including cement mixers, wheel loaders, compactors and dumpers.
Brigade Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brigade Electronics plc, a manufacturer of backing safety systems.
