EquipRent.com, an online service focused solely on construction equipment rental, was recently launched to enable contractors to request and receive multiple rental quotes via one source.
Contractors can visit www.EquipRent.com to get prices from multiple rental equipment companies for free. Users can select the equipment they need, put in their contact information and location of the project, and submit it. The request is immediately sent to all relevant rental companies in the area, who will send price quotes directly to the contractor.
The website was established to provide construction contractors with an easy, efficient way to obtain multiple quotes from different equipment rental companies at no cost to the contractor, and to allow rental companies to receive highly qualified opportunities in a more cost-effective way, the company said.
“No longer will it take numerous phone calls and follow-ups, or visits to several rental sites, to obtain the quotes contractors need,” said Scott Anderson, EquipCo LLC/EquipRent.com founder and CEO. “After working in this industry for more than 20 years, I know how time consuming it can be to get the quotes you need in a timely, cost-effective way. I developed EquipRent.com to streamline the process, helping contractors save both time and money.”
Contractors can set up an account with a user ID and password, and EquipRent.com will store all the information about past projects for easy tracking and management of rental equipment.
The service went through a 60-day beta test during which it was used by construction companies across the United States to obtain quotes. Beta users agreed that the site saved time and money and made it easier and faster to get equipment rental quotes.
