Sugarplum Tent Co. announced last week that it has sold its business and assets to CE Rentals, formerly known as Curated Events. CE Rentals is owned by Dubin Clark & Co.
Sugarplum Tent Co. has two locations: one warehouse in Frederick, Md., and another warehouse in Boyds, Md.
“We’ve been in business for 33 years and the decision to sell was a difficult one,” said Barbi Richardson, owner of Sugarplum. “We are happy to have sold to CE Rentals and Dubin Clark as it was a natural fit for us to do so. I’d like to thank Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors for his handling of the entire process and for closing the deal. We are very happy.”
