Peterson Machinery Co. announced this week that it has acquired Power Pac Equipment Rental and Sales, with locations in Klamath Falls and Medford, Ore.

“When we were approached with this opportunity, it was clear to us that Power Pac was a good fit for our Cat Rental Store network in Oregon,” said Rick Schott, general manager of Peterson Cat.  “It’s gives us an entrance into the Klamath Falls and surrounding market and increases our presence in the Medford area.”

“We are very pleased that Peterson acquired the company my parents founded over 30 years ago and it is the best move for our company, employees and customers,” said Jeff Mauch, co-owner of Power Pac. “Selling to Peterson was an ideal situation and we know they will take it to the next level.” Mauch will stay with the company in a managerial and sales role.

“We would like to recognize and thank the Hagemans who went above and beyond for us in their representation, especially in light of the recent passing of my husband, Harry.  We couldn’t have done it without them,” said Carol Mauch, co-founder of Power Pac.

Fred Hageman and Jay Hageman of Rental Business Advisors represented Power Pac Rental and Sales in the transaction.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
