Herc Rentals Acquires Alabama’s Industrial Rental
Herc Rentals has acquired Industrial Rental & Sales, LLC, an independent equipment rental provider located in Guntersville, Ala., and serving the greater Huntsville, Ala., area.
“Since we started Industrial Rentals, our focus has been on serving our customers,” said J.D. Miles, co-owner and manager of Industrial Rental. “The Huntsville area has experienced tremendous growth over the last decade, and we have grown with that. Over the years, we have struggled with keeping the inventory levels necessary to keep up with that demand. To fulfill customer needs, we often re-rented equipment, bought equipment just in time for a project or fast-tracked a turnaround of equipment going from one rental to the next. Partnering with Herc will significantly expand our equipment availability and services offered to our customers. We are very excited for what the next chapter holds for our customers and employees after partnering with Herc.”
Industrial Rentals rents a full line of construction equipment including excavators, dozers, skid steer loaders, compaction equipment, reach forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

Herc Rentals, headquartered in Bonita Springs, Fla., is No. 3 on the RER 100.
