Rental Business Advisors announced this week that Florida Rental Equipment LLC, a three-location equipment rental company based in Orlando, Fla., with branch locations in Clermont and DeLand, Fla., has been acquired by Empower Rental Group (ERG), a platform of local equipment rental providers across the southeastern United States.
“We weren’t for sale when we were approached by the ERG team, but after careful consideration it was the best move for the company, its owners, employees and customers,” said Trey Martin, co-owner of Florida Rental Equipment.
“We are very pleased to have sold the company to ERG and believe they will be a great partner to support the growth of the business going forward,” added Martin. “We brought in Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors to advise us and handle the entire process and we thank him for getting the deal done in a professional manner.” Fred Hageman of Rental Business Advisors represented Florida Rental Equipment in the transaction.
