Houston-based Equipment Depot recently acquired Daily Equipment Co. Inc. and Southern California Material Handling and each of their locations now operate as Equipment Depot. The integration of these two material handling dealer groups adds eight new locations to Equipment Depot – two in California, four in Louisiana, and two in Mississippi – bringing the company’s total number of dealer locations to 43 nationwide.

Equipment Depot’s coast-to-coast branch network represents more than 25 percent of the U.S. forklift market, the company said.

“With the addition of SCMH and Daily Equipment, we will leverage our expansive resources to deliver elevated service and support to all our customers,” said David Turner, Equipment Depot president and CEO. “I am excited about the full potential of our united team and using our combined capabilities to further solidify our position as the best service organization in the industry.”

Equipment Depot includes rental services and has been a longtime RER 100 listee. Equipment Depot also offers mobile elevating work platforms and other equipment.

Earlier last year, Equipment Depot was acquired by Mitsubishi Logisnext, a leading provider of forklifts including Cat lift trucks, Mitsubishi forklift trucks and Jungheinrich, along with automation and logistics solutions.

Now through an extended network of locations, Equipment Depot will continue to provide full-service material handling solutions that help its customers improve productivity and maximize uptime. The company serves as a single source for new and used forklifts, aerial lifts, service, parts, rentals and warehouse solutions for customers in a wide array of industries.
