Holland Pump Acquires Pumping and Shoring Solutions

The acquisition expands Holland Pump's presence in one of the nation's fastest-growing construction and infrastructure markets while strengthening its service capabilities across the Eastern United States.

Holland Pump has acquired Pumping and Shoring Solutions LLC, a provider of pump rental, dewatering systems, groundwater control, and temporary water management solutions headquartered north of Charlotte, in Lincolnton, N.C.

The acquisition expands Holland Pump's presence in one of the nation's fastest-growing construction and infrastructure markets while strengthening its service capabilities across the Eastern United States. With operations now extending into North Carolina, the company further enhances its regional network, improving equipment availability, operational efficiency, and support for customers managing projects of all sizes.

Founded in 2009 by Robert "Robbie" Belk, PSS has established a strong reputation for delivering comprehensive groundwater management and excavation support services for construction, infrastructure, municipal, and development projects throughout the Carolinas and Southeast.

PSS provides strong coverage across the Carolinas and the broader Southeast, a region experiencing significant infrastructure and construction growth. The acquisition enhances Holland Pump's ability to deliver integrated water management solutions across this expanding market while leveraging its branch network, equipment fleet, and technical expertise to better support customers throughout the region.

"Pumping and Shoring Solutions has built an impressive reputation based on technical expertise, customer service, and a commitment to helping customers successfully complete challenging projects," said Dane Bedinger, president of Holland Pump Co. "This acquisition is an ideal strategic fit for Holland Pump. PSS expands our geographic reach in a highly attractive market, strengthens our service capabilities, and enhances our ability to deliver pump rental, bypass pumping, dewatering, water treatment, and groundwater control solutions to customers throughout the Carolinas and Southeast. We are excited to welcome Robbie and the entire PSS team to Holland Pump."

PSS specializes in dewatering system design and implementation, temporary pumping operations, and engineered shoring solutions. By combining engineering expertise with field execution, the company helps contractors, developers, and municipalities manage complex subsurface conditions while maintaining safe, efficient project schedules.

Larger fleet, expanded resources

"Joining Holland Pump represents an exciting opportunity for our employees and customers," said Belk. "Holland Pump and The Workdry Group share our commitment to customer service, safety, and operational excellence. With access to a larger fleet, expanded resources, and additional technical expertise, we will be able to offer even greater value to our customers while continuing to provide the local service and relationships that have been the foundation of our success."

Belk and his family will remain a vital part of the business, helping ensure a seamless transition for employees, customers, and partners while supporting the company's continued growth throughout the region.

"This acquisition reflects our commitment to strengthening our integrated water management and pumping solutions platform across North America," said Dan Lee, CEO of The Workdry Group, which owns Holland Pump. "Bringing PSS into The Workdry Group strengthens Holland Pump’s footprint across the U.S. With a shared commitment to customer service, safety and operational excellence, together, we’ll drive our growth forward while continuing to deliver for our customers. We are excited to welcome the PSS team to The Workdry Group and look forward to building on their success."
