Sinoboom Acquires Holland Lift; Emphasizes European Presence at Bauma
Sinoboom has acquired the Holland Lift brand, including all of Holland’s intellectual property, Sinoboom announced at its press conference at the Bauma show in Munich. Sinoboom made the acquisition through its Dutch subsidiary Sinoboom BV. The acquisition includes a range of more than 30 models from 16 meters to 34 meters in height, many offering loading capabilities of more than 1,000 kg.
Susan Xu, CEO of Sinoboom Group, highlighted the strategic alignment of the acquisition: “This milestone supports our long-term objectives of product diversification and deepening our European presence. The Holland Lift brand is recognized globally and has been a leader in the large scissor lift sector both in construction and industrial sectors, and its integration will enhance our global offerings.
“The Holland Lift range is a natural extension to our existing product portfolio and will allow us to offer our global customer base a wider range, whilst also allowing Sinoboom to develop new customers whose business is often focused in this sector of high-capacity scissors.”
The Holland Lift brand will retain its identity and be known as “Holland Lift by Sinoboom,” ensuring continuity for its established market presence. The Holland Lift brand is known for heavy-duty performance, Sinoboom said, with machines suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with power options including electric, diesel and hybrid systems. The existing Holland Lift designs will be migrated to Sinoboom’s global CAD systems, followed by a phase of technical adaptation and integration of Sinoboom’s proprietary operating systems. Initial prototypes will then be manufactured for official certification.
“The product will eventually be manufactured across all the Sinoboom global manufacturing locations, but the initial focus will be in Poznan, Poland, further strengthening our commitment to Europe and our strategy of ‘Made in Europe for Europe,’” said Xu.
“Our plan is to have the first models manufactured in our European manufacturing plant in Poznan during Q1 2026,” said Richard Butler, Sinoboom’s European CEO, said. “These models will then be followed by the rest of the range on a phased introduction and then with other manufacturing locations starting production.”
Emphasizing international identity
At Bauma, Sinoboom is emphasizing its international strategy. On the stand are multiple models manufactured in Poland, with the show theme being “Made in Europe for Europe.” MEWP products include a variety of electric slab scissor lifts, new-generation diesel RT scissorlifts, articulating boom lifts ranging from compact 10-meter models to high-reach 46-meter models, vertical lifts, and an SPA27J spider lift.
The selection of models at the show is tailored to appeal to construction industry professionals and fleet managers seeking reliable, high-quality, technologically advanced equipment for working at height. Sinoboom is able to meet all these needs and provides solid, localized after-sales support including spare part supply, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
The European facility in Poznan, Poland, was established in 2021, and has now had three years of continuous production of a range of scissor and boom lifts. With a strong and expanding European supply chain, a solid European customer base that continues to grow, and a resident, Europe-focused R&D team, Sinoboom is well-positioned to meet the needs of European partners with high-quality equipment in a minimal timeframe.
