Ascent Lifting recently acquired Hoisting Wire Rope and Sling of Corpus Christi, Texas, its third acquisition in 2025 and is looking for more companies to acquire to increase its growing portfolion. Ascent is based in Phoenix.
Hoisting Wire Rope and Sling provides wire rope, slings, hoists and other equipment to end users, and also offers rigging services. The company will operate as a branch within Ascent’s CERTEX division.
"We are thrilled to welcome Hoisting Wire Rope and Sling to the Ascent Lifting platform,” Ascent CEO Dee Schweigert said in a statement. “Their industrial expertise and long-standing presence in the market enhance our ability to support customers across Texas with comprehensive lifting and rigging solutions.”
Ascent acquired Brevard Rigging Supply, Cocoa, Fla., in November. On Feb. 3, it completed the acquisition of Charleston’s Rigging & Marine Hardware.
Ascent now has more than 40 U.S. branches.
