Groupe Lou-Tec, largest equipment rental company in the province of Quebec, Canada, recently acquired Location Equipements des Cantons-de-l’Est which operates three branches under the Lou-Tec banner in Granby, Bromont and Cowansville, Quebec.

With this transaction, Lou-Tec Group expands its geographic footprint with a network of 23 corporate branches across the southern and northern shores of Quebec, in the greater Montreal region, in the Outaouais, in Montérégie, in the Laurentians and now in the Eastern Townships.

“It is an already well-established partnership that we have now welded and which will allow the Lou-Tec brand to maintain its presence in this beautiful region of Quebec,” said Jean-Marc Dallaire, CEO of Lou-Tec Group.

Lou-Tec also recently acquired, in late 2020. Atlas Rental Centers, a network of four branches located north of Montreal. Atlas Rental Centers has done business in the region for more than 25 years as a family-owned rental company, owned by Pierre Groulx.

“An investment in this region will better serve customers who have or are planning construction projects there, create development opportunities for employees and optimize our operations by using the synergy of regional management of our fleet,” said Dallaire.

The four branches, that will now be known as Lou-Tec are in St.-Augustin, St.-Canut, Boisbriand and Laval.

Lou-Tec is headquartered in Anjou, Quebec, a borough of Montreal.
