Maxim Crane Works Acquires B&G Crane Service

Maxim Crane Works recently entered into an agreement to acquire B&G Crane, a wholly owned subsidiary of NCSG.

Maxim Crane Works recently entered into an agreement to acquire B&G Crane, a wholly owned subsidiary of NCSG. B&G is one of the largest providers of crane rental and related lift solutions servicing the Gulf Coast region of the United States. Founded in 1946, B&G Crane, with corporate headquarters in New Orleans and branch offices in Baton Rouge, La., and Beaumont and Baytown, Texas, services customers throughout the Gulf Coast and southeastern U.S. with a fleet of more than 150 cranes ranging from four- to 825-ton capacities and a truck fleet of more than 100 vehicles.

Following the closing, Maxim will begin integrating B&G with its existing operating business.

Stifel is serving as the exclusive financial advisor to B&G Crane for the sale; and Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP is B&G Crane’s legal advisor. Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP is serving as Maxim’s legal advisor.

Based in Newport, Ky., Maxim Crane Works is No. 5 on the RER 100.
