Miller Spreader Co. adds the MC250 to its Curbilder line of curbing machines. It can be used in a variety of applications that require the placement of durable concrete edging such as golf courses, parks and recreation areas, water retention areas, garden borders and miniature putting greens.

In addition to decorative landscape curbing, the MC250 applies to commercial tack down curbing, ranging from low profile rollover curbs to standard parking lot curbing.

“As with all our other products, operator safety and convenience are designed into the product from the start,” says Bruce Waters, sales manager. “With the MC250 the rental company now has the product that allows them to meet their customers decorative curbing needs while minimizing capital outlay and improving return on investment.”

The product has console-mounted emergency stop switch, hour/service meter and level. The multi position steering handle can be used on either the left or right side of the machine. A large hopper with anti-bridging design is designed to improve machine productivity. An engine guard is designed to keep the concrete off the engine. The chain guard protects the chain drive assembly from damage and the operator from harm, and a lifting bail is designed to make it easy to lift the machine.

The auger drive provides high-density extruded curbing that eliminates flat spots and weak areas in the curb that are common with a plunger style drive machine.
