McConnellsburg, Pa.-based JLG Industries announced its acquisition of intellectual property and related assets for a line of compact telehandlers from Etablissements Fadeur SA of Wallonia, Belgium.

The acquisition further expands the company's telehandler product portfolio with additional models for the European market, primarily for the agricultural market segment. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“The intellectual property purchased from Fadeur provides a solid foundation on which to develop our new telehandler products,” said Wayne McDonald, senior vice president of engineering. “In 2003, we will introduce new compact models that encompass the innovative features, reliability and quality that our customers have come to expect from JLG.”
