NEW YORK - Former Neff CEO Kevin Fitzgerald has been named CEO of Win-Gate Equity Group, which provides international voice, data, video and Internet services through its New York-based Globaltron subsidiary.
"I am very excited about being a part of the Globaltron team and believe that Globaltron can create significant shareholder value by executing its business model," Fitzgerald said.
Fitzgerald resigned in June from Neff, No. 7 on the RER 100, after a bid he led with GE Capital to buy out the Miami-based company failed. The proposal drew the wrath of many shareholders, and several lawsuits alleged that Neff and board members acted improperly in handling the bid.
