John Deere Sponsors EAA Event

Moline, Ill.-based John Deere announced its sponsorship of the Experimental Aircraft Association 2001 AirVenture, which took place July 24-30, in Oshkosh, Wis. At the event, 150 John Deere Gator utility vehicles served as mobile safety, transportation and hauling units, and 30 John Deere compact utility tractors pulled attendee trams. In addition to towing small aircraft, transporting visitors and hauling equipment, the company's products also maintained the grounds at the event.
