Century's new model 87128 battery charger/starter handles 6-volt and 12-volt maintenance free, conventional and deep cycle batteries for cars, trucks, boats, RVs, motorcycles lawnmowers and farm equipment. It also delivers a 70-amp boost to start even the most stubborn vehicle in severe winter conditions. In 12-amp high charge mode it will charge automotive batteries in 2 ½ to 4 hours, and it will automatically shut off when the battery is fully charged.

Michelin Earthmover has designed the X Lisse Compacteur radial tire. The non-sticking tread compound virtually eliminates the problem of paving material sticking to the tire and allows for performance on hot road surfaces and even compaction. The tread and shoulder areas of the tire help resist cuts and punctures, while providing even pressure distribution. It comes in the following sizes: 7.50 R15 and 13/80 R20.

Redipulse battery charger from PulseTech Products Corp. prevents dead batteries by keeping batteries in like-new condition all the time. By introducing a slight trickle charge, the charger also prevents the normal loss of battery power on stored vehicles that sit unused. This patented unit helps protect the environment. Because batteries last longer, there will be less contamination of battery leads and sulfuric acid dumped from prematurely discarded batteries.

Ridge Tool Co. introduces a new line of thread sealants, available in two versions — a gray non-Teflon version for metal pipes and a white Teflon version for all types of pipe. Designed to lubricate and seal threaded joints on water, gas, steam and air lines, the thread sealants will not harden, crack or shrink. The nontoxic, lead free, non-staining sealants, which are usable for potable water applications, are formulated to not degrade chemically and to maintain their properties over time. The thread sealants are able to withstand pressures up to 3,000 psi on gas lines and 10,000 psi on lines containing fluids.
