MacKissic last week acquired the Easy Auger product line from E-Z Industries, Alexandria, Minn. Mike Smollock, vice president of sales and marketing for Parker Ford, Pa.-based MacKissic, said the Easy Auger will complement MacKissic's existing product line and will help develop new business in other industry segments. The Easy Auger line is well known in the rental, fencing and light construction markets. Production will be transferred to MacKissic's Parker Ford plant within the next few days and the company anticipates no delays in shipments.

The Easy Auger acquisition is MacKissic's fourth in the past 10 years, including the purchase of Johnson Big Wheel Mowers about a year ago. MacKissic also makes leaf shredders, cyclers and blowers, chipper/shredders, vacuum-chipper-baggers, power sprayers, mid-tine and rear tine tillers, stump cutters, high wheel and rough terrain mowers. Mackissic sells to the power equipment and rental industries under the Mighty Mac, Merry Tiller and Johnson Big Wheel brand names.
