Diamond Products

Diamond Products introduces its 14-inch blade capacity SpeediCut-XL cut-off saw, a high-speed saw for cutting concrete, block, brick and asphalt. The unit has a larger initial foam filter and redirected air flow against secondary filter to optimize air filtration. An enhanced version of the previous SpeediCut 14-inch saw, the unit optimizes cooling from air flow and the fuel compensator to reduce cylinder temperature. An enhanced catalytic muffler reduces emissions and temperature.

Stone Construction Equipment

The Stone Screed Bull from Stone Construction Equipment has two models of vibrating power screeds. The VSB80, the heavy-duty professional contractors' model, handles boards to 16 feet yet weighs only 32 pounds. The VSB70 is a more lightweight line and handles 12-foot boards and weighs only 25 pounds. The power nits drive the extruded aluminum screed boards with an equilateral triangle geometry with additional reinforcing, generating dual horizontal and vertical vibration. Both models are powered by 4-cycle Honda GX25 engines, and feature handle-mounted throttles for fingertip control of the vibration.

Wacker Neuson

Wacker Neuson's DF rebar tier allows operators to tie up to 1,000 knots per hour, compared to 400 kph using conventional pliers. The DF 16 is designed to improve operator comfort by enabling he or she to work in an upright position. The tier creates a tighter knot and each tie is secured without cutting, eliminating costly site cleanup. Besides relieving back strain, the DF 16 eliminates the turning/twisting motion of the wrist, which can cause carpal tunnel syndrome.
