Modern Chairman Steps Down

BRISTOL, Pa. — Joseph McEwen, Modern Group's founder, stepped down recently as chairman of the board in a planned transition. John F. Smith was elected chairman of the board and McEwen will remain as a director. Smith will oversee the ESOP transaction currently underway and will assist the company with its ongoing development of long-term strategy.

David Griffith will continue as president and CEO with responsibility for the overall operation and direction of the company.
