Preparing and maintaining planting beds that are too small for traditional tilling/cultivating equipment can reduce productivity. RedMax introduced the lightweight and compact CV225 cultivator, which is designed for small planting beds, vegetable gardens or any other small spaces.

RedMax's G24LS two-cycle engine drives rugged bolo tines through a variety of soil types, including clay and hard soil. The 11-inch wide CV225 cultivator weighs 20 pounds.

“We had rental stores in mind when we designed the CV225,” says RedMax marketing manager Tommy Tanaka. “When a cultivator leaves the store, the owner doesn't know how much it will be abused. So we combined rugged construction with our reliable Komatsu Zenoah two-cycle engine to keep the cultivator out in the field making money, instead of in the shop after each use.”
